Fabric choice:

Light to medium weight woven fabric. Cotton, Silk, Wool, Viscose, Cupro, Linen or Polyester. Works well in fabrics with comfort stretch. Not suitable for jersey.

Take your measurement according to the measurement chart. Choose the size closest to your measurement see measurement chart here

Fitting:

We recommend that you always make a muslin before you cut the fashion fabric, to make sure your finished style will fit you perfectly.


Cutting Fabric


On each pattern piece you will find a capital letter. On the cutting layout plan, you will find the same capital letters so that you can easily see which pattern pieces to use for the view you have chosen.

Sewing


NB! The Pattern Has 1 Cm Seam Allowances Included, Unless Otherwise Noted.

1.      Cut all pieces according to the cutting layout plan.

2.      Press interfacing to the waistband.

 Sew The Skirt

3.  Sew the back darts. Press them towards centre-back.

4.  Fold the pleats on the front piece according to the arrows on the pattern. Stitch the pleats in place within the seam allowance.

5.  Fold the vent piece, right sides together and stitch the sides. Turn and press.

6.  Finish the raw edge of the vent facing.

7.   Finish the seam allowances of the side seams and the center-back seam.

8.  Finish the seam allowances of one of the long sides of the waistband.

9.   Sew the side seams, right sides together. Press the seam allowances open.

10.  Finish the hem.

11.  Sew the corners at the center-back hem.

12.  Place the waistband at the waist of the skirt, right sides together, and sew it in place. Press the seam allowance into the waistband.

13.  Sew the zipper in place.  The zipper should end at the notch on the waistband. (See how to online).

14.  Fold the waistband around the zipper, so that the fabric is right sides together and sew the end of the waistband to the zipper.

15.  Turn the waistband to the right side so that the zipper is placed in between the layers of the folded waistband.

16.  Finish the waistband by stitching in the ditch from the right side of the skirt.

17.  Sew the centre-back seam from zipper to vent marking. Press the seam allowances open.

18.  Hem the skirt.

19.  Sew the vent facing in place to the seam allowance of the back piece, according to markings, so that the hem of the facing aligns with the hem of the skirt. Stitch the vent facing in place from the right side.

20.  Sew the hook-and-eye in place above the zipper.
