  Prepare the pattern

  1. First, you need to extend the pattern pieces for the bodice like this.

2. Fit the waistline from the bodice to the trousers

To make the waist seam of the bodice and the trousers the same, you have to adjust a few things.

The bodice's waistline is approx. 2.5 cm bigger than the trousers- however, the difference is only on the back piece.

  • Remove 1 cm from the CB – NOTE! This pattern piece is now on fold CB.

  • Remove 1.3 cm from the bottom for the side seam and end in 0 at the top.

  • Measure both waistlines to make sure they fit.
