13 years of sewing patterns...
…and the Beginning of The Archive
If you have followed me across my different channels, you may know that 2026 has been a year in which I have taken a step back.
There have been several reasons for this, but the most important one is that I needed to rediscover the joy in my work.
That joy is slowly returning. And as it does, new thoughts and ideas are beginning to appear.
One of those ideas is not about creating something new, but about looking back.
For the past 13 years, I have focused on the next sewing pattern, the next launch and the next project. Now I feel ready to turn around and look at everything I have already created.
I have made a video about this.
In the video, I talk about how it all began with my first sewing pattern in 2013, and how my patterns have since become a kind of diary of my life, my personal style and my development as a designer.
But this video will not stand alone.
If you watched it until the end, you will already know that I have decided to revisit my entire pattern archive. I want to take out each pattern, one at a time, share the story behind it and look at it through the eyes I have today.
How do I see the design now? How would I sew it? How would I fit and style it for the woman I am today?

I have sewn this pattern many times, but it has been years since I last had it in my hands. Now it is time to bring it out again, and I am excited to see what happens when a design from the past meets my style and my life today.
This will be the next part of the series I have chosen to call The Archive.
